If anyone tells you LinkedIn doesn’t work – it does. Hanging out with the crew from NAWIC is proof of that. Shelley found me on LinkedIn, and brought me in to photograph some of their members for headshots and photos of their event. The first thing? A place. I suggested Virginia Beach headshots at The Void. If you haven’t been to The Void in Virginia Beach – they’ve got a few great spaces for events like this – and – as you can see in the photos below, some unique vibes for headshots. We wanted to try to create something special for them – and I think we did that.
The event highlighted work that these women had done to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. They’re not only working towards being successful in their industry, they’re also finding ways to give back. It was really special to get to meet these wonderful people and be part of it.
