These sweet Norfolk family photos might be some of my absolute favorites! The Sciacchitano family is so, so precious which made taking some really sweet pictures very easy. I love that we caught their son’s reaction the moment a giant trash truck rolled by. Watching his little face light up was really cute and made me realize how much my kids have grown! It goes so fast. One minute your kids are amazed by trash trucks and the next they’re sitting in their (virtual) elementary school classroom. Crazy.
Anyway, we were worried about the weather! Hampton Roads was incredibly rainy during the entire week of the shoot. It drizzled a bit but really it was perfect. It cleared up enough just in time to get some really great Norfolk family photos. That city is one of my favorites to photograph in! The awesome mix of the city brick and the water makes it easy to get some really varied looks.
Right now is the perfect time to schedule your family photos! You probably don’t want to think about it yet (and neither do I) but the holidays are right around the corner. If you get your photos taken within the couple of months or so you’ll have plenty of time to order cards. I’ve had lots of inquiries, so I’ve added some time slots to my calendar.
