Any chance I have to do photography in Virginia Beach – especially content shots with the amazing women at Lola Boutique – is a damn good day. This gallery actually highlights two months worth of content for them. The first time we got together, we took the energy of their fresh boutique to Back Bay Wildlife Refuge and let the sun work its magic. The entire thing felt soft, warm, and edgy – exactly like the type of things you would expect to find in their shop. When Mother Nature decides to cooperate perfectly with your brand, you can’t ask for more.
When we met most recently, we focused our time in their boutique located in Red Mill Commons in Virginia Beach. I love when I get to see people working within their space. You can actually experience how the individual strengths of a group are combined to create a unique experience for customers. Every personality and every bit of expertise is brought together in a way that feels intentional – these people were meant to be in this place. And so are you. If nothing else, I got to scope out their sweet clothing and jewelry for myself. They also have an awesome collection of trucker hats. The 90’s punk goddess within me will never shy away from a good trucker hat.
To the women of Lola Boutique: you always aim to make people feel special, welcomed and valued. After spending a few sessions with you, I have no doubt that is exactly what you do. I hope having the chance to get in front of the camera helped you feel a little special, too.
