I have no idea how Misty Saves the Day became so connected with Virginia realtors but it is honestly…really awesome. Realtors are no longer limiting themselves listings on their social media. They are showcasing their individual personalities and giving potential clients insight into who they will be working with.
And I’m living for it.
I recently had the chance to work with the incredible women of The Linda Fox-Jarvis Team, a family-run business with roots dating back to 1981. What began as a business turned into a legacy when Linda’s daughter, Stephanie, joined her in 2010. This mother-daughter duo have built a company together that is based on a strong foundation of hard work with a fresh twist of innovation. They even have a YouTube channel! What started with one woman has expanded into many, and they represent a wide range of knowledge and expertise.

Fun fact: the incredible home where we captured most of our content is actually Annie’s home in the Freemason District of Norfolk! (I would be lying if I said I didn’t snag some inspiration while I was there.) From one location we were able to capture a wide variety of shots, complete with killer outfit changes. By taking a short stroll off the porch, we got to take advantage of the beautiful community and greenery. I keep saying it – your branding sessions don’t have to be over-the-top or complicated. Make the most of what you have access to and talk to your photographer about how you can best utilize a location.
