The Blackburns nailed their family session and did it all from the comfort of their own home. Honestly, at home sessions when you have a toddler is a genius idea. You are in familiar territory, spare outfits are within reach, and you are never without your favorite snacks. And sticks!! Don’t forget about all of the amazing sticks you might find.

Did you know that I originally picked up a camera because I wanted to take family photos? Even then I knew how important capturing moments with your family are. So, I learned how to use my camera. My own friends and loved ones served as my models. And then – family by family – I got the chance to capture precious moments for others. Even though I get to help create fun content for clients, a part of me always gravitates toward family sessions. It’s simple. It’s important.
And it deserves to be remembered.
So, give me an excuse to pick up my camera. You bring the big smiles and the big love. The rest will fall in to place. It always does.
