One of my favorite things that happens at a playset build for Roc Solid Foundation? I love the poem that volunteers give these families called “What Cancer Cannot Do.” There is so much that cancer cannot do. In these times when these families need to hear it the most – they need to know what cancer cannot do. At the bottom of all these awesome pics from Tucker’s playset build is the poem – make sure you read it.
Each and every time that I get to go to one of these Roc Solid Foundation events, I’m continually inspired by the families, the volunteers, the community that comes together for people and kids that they may not even know. They donate time, money, efforts to make sure that these kids have a safe place to play – and that’s one of the many reasons that Roc Solid Foundation (and I) believe that play defeats cancer.
