I had no idea how much I loved a good toast until the Rountree Team lifted their glasses. Even better, they proved that it doesn’t matter what is in your glass so long as you are surrounded by good company.
Whoever said three is a crowd never met this bunch.
Team sessions are absolutely critical. If you aren’t the only person within your business, then you shouldn’t be the only face your clients see. People deserve to know the talent behind the service they expect of your company. Your staff deserve to be highlighted and recognized for the meaningful ways they help you grow. When you think about it, sharing your team is a bit of a celebration – a social media “Hooray!” for the wonderful people that share their time and energy with you.
If you aren’t celebrating your team, you are missing out.
I actually really enjoy talking about the powerhouse women that have helped Misty Saves the Day grow into what it is. Each of them brings a set of unique skills and unforgettable personalities. And here’s the really cool part – the part that continuously blows my mind – they could spend their time doing something else. They have full time jobs in addition to the time they log with me. Families, pets, growing their own businesses…they all have incredible lives that are worthy of their time. So, when they share that sacred time with me on a Monday evening at 8 pm for a staff meeting, I don’t take it for granted. They show up at Darling and Dapper at 7 am on a Saturday to get glammed up for team photos. I appreciate the extra coffee they consumed to make it happen.
They have a million other fantastic options, and they are choosing our kick-ass team.
If I only talk about myself, then I’m lying. I don’t do this alone, I don’t want to do it alone, and you wouldn’t get near the same service if it weren’t for them. If you feel the same way about your own team, then make sure they get camera time, too. Team sessions area a great opportunity for you to take a variety of shots, including team images and single portraits. Mix and match who is in each picture to increase the amount of content you have! If you’ve never tried it, trust me – you’ll be hooked.
The Rountree Team gallery highlights the best parts of a team session. It was serious and fun. There were suits and sweaters. Smiles and toasts. They nailed it. And to be honest, team sessions are a hell of a good time. I would know. I make sure to get my team in front of the camera at least two or three times a year.
So, what are you waiting for?
