It happened: Misty Saves the Day has made it one year, and has been far more successful than I could’ve dreamed.
At the end of this first year, we have 1 employee and 2 interns. We have 28 amazing clients, and we’ve assisted or planned/coordinated 11 photoshoots with 7 more by the end of 2016. We’ve helped numerous people get published, and that has been extraordinarily exciting. I was lucky enough to help style the shoot for the cover of a magazine, help publish another, and have a styled shoot in another. I got asked to speak on three separate occasions about social media and marketing. I started a second business, ISO:ALT, an amazing blog for creatives. I became the VP of Communications for the Hampton Roads Chapter of ILEA. I’m calling it: it was a banner year.
It’s been a year of adventure, and watching the business grow in a way that I never thought it could. Here’s a fun montage of what’s happened this year – and I’m sure that things will get missed because it was so eventful, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t fantastic:

Guys, this year has been far more than I could’ve hoped for. Could’ve dreamed! And these are only the things that I have photos of – the amazing clients, the wonderful blogs I’ve had a chance to write, the things that I’ve helped get published – it’s all meant the world. I can’t wait to see what next year brings and am looking forward to taking you on the ride with me.
