These Little Island park family photos couldn’t have come on a better June night. This wonderful family has me take their family photos every year – and we usually end up at either Little Island or Back Bay and I just can’t believe how quickly these kids are growing up. It’s such a privilege to get to photograph so many different stages in people’s lives – and that’s definitely the case for this wonderful family.
I’m a big fan of starting at the park. Let’s get some of the sillies out – and get pictures of the kids being kids in the meantime. Little Island Park is great for that – there’s literally something for every age range. Then we hit up the beach – but no one’s allowed to touch the water unless a parent says so. After that? The park is the perfect way to get them back out. It’s the best spot for a family with little ones in Virginia Beach as far as I’m concerned.
