ILEA Gala 2017 - Looking to 2018's Gala at the Cavalier on June 20th

I have had the privilege of serving on the ILEA Gala Committee for the last three years – and co-chairing the gala last year with Emily Miller of the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and again this year, at the newly renovated Cavalier Hotel. Somehow, I realized that I never blogged last year’s epic event, that couldn’t have been put on without the incredible committee that made it possible: Emily Miller of Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Courtney Pollard and Jeramie Hobizal of Stage Right Lighting Weddings & Special Events, Staci Jelley of Chef by Design, Alyse Conyers of Waterford Event Rentals, Jennifer Cregar of Sweetwater Cuisine, and Kelsey Leeper of The Historic Post Office.

You all know that I’m not an event planner – and I don’t intend to be. Planning the gala this year and last was a labor of love, done with some amazing individuals as a group effort, and I’m so glad that I’ve been part of it.
