Any excuse that I have to go to Richmond is always welcomed. Doing these headshots in Richmond for Courtney with Ameris Bank Mortgage Services was a blast. I got to see a little bit of everything – her office, Maymont, and Carytown. You know I ended up at Plan 9 Records to pick up some things on my way home because I couldn’t not. Courtney was a referral from my friend, Alison McPherson, that I regularly do headshots with, so I’m super thankful for that.

How do I plan for headshots when they’re out of town? Well, the good news is that I get to rely a lot on you! You get the most of my creativity, because I’m usually photographing in places I’ve never been before AND you get to show me around to your favorite spots. Courtney and I already have plans for Round 2 again and what we’ll do when we get a date on the calendar for my next trip up there!
