One of the things I love about Alison McPherson (or Ali, as her friends call her… but I still call her Alison because I always have) – is that she’s a ball of kindness mixed with a whole lot of sarcasm, and that’s honestly my favorite kind of human. Alison is a Hampton Roads Realtor, who had me do some Hampton headshots for her recently.
I don’t go to that side of the water for JUST ANYONE.
You know us Virginia Beach people complain whenever we have to cross the tunnel, but there were no complaints from me. We hung out in Phoebus on Mellen Street and got some great photos of everything that Hampton has to offer (by the way, VB people – it’s way cooler than you give it credit for).
Alison has been working with me quarterly on content photos, but a few years back, she was our Realtor when we sold our house in Suffolk. Not only is she all those wonderful things that I said above – but she’s REALLY good at her job.
Quarterly Content Shoots
If you’re trying to up your game when it comes to content photography, quarterly photos may be for you. Because we book up so quickly with content shoots, it guarantees you a spot on the calendar. It also reminds you that you’ve got some prep work to do every three months.
I get my headshots/content pics done about as frequently. In fact, in scheduling my social media recently, I used my headshots from almost 7 years ago. Content can come and go and flow. It’s important that you keep updating it – while going back and using some of the gems that you’ve taken along the way.
