This beach wedding inspiration came of my love for Virginia Beach, where we grew up, and where Chris and I dated, fell in love, and got married. It was supposed to feel like every beach kid’s dream wedding – a little bit of boho, a lot of color, and a nod to the stars on the beach at night. There’s all sorts of personal twists tucked in there, that if you look hard enough, you can find. My love for this shoot knows no bounds – and I hope you feel the same way!
This shoot was something so awesome to me – and there’s a whole other piece that didn’t make it to the magazine that I’m also super proud of. This was the shoot that opened the door for the NorVA shoot that got the cover of the last issue of Coastal Virginia Magazine, and this amazing shoot was given a generous 6-page spread in the latest issue that just came out this week! It was also my very first shoot designed for myself, as Misty Saves the Day, and the first one that I worked on with Mike Dragon! What an awesome (and insane) day – and I’m so excited that we can finally release the photos.
