Alright, so when I got hired to do this ENGAGEMENT party, I knew the surprise. It wasn’t an engagement party. It was a wedding and it was going to be an epic surprise for all their loved ones. Let’s be honest: I don’t do a lot of Cape Charles wedding photography. I don’t do a lot of wedding photography at all – because that’s not what makes sense for our business as a social media management company. But you know what does make sense?
Taking wedding photos for a locally owned small business (AJ’s Bar and Grill) and their owners as they got married. That makes sense. It makes sense to do it when they were referred by DragonFly Counseling Group, who’s headshots I take every year. That made sense. And beyond that? It made sense because I wanted to do it because how cool is it to surprise your family and friends with a wedding? Made me wish I’d done that!
