This family was SO fun to work with. They showed up and were immediately silly with me- which meant I knew we’d have a great time. We were originally supposed to do their photos at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, but the weather had other plans. It was a super windy day – and looked like it COULD rain (and immediately started once the session was done). West Neck Natural area photos ended up being the perfect solution. We were covered by trees to be blocked from the wind, there were hiking trails for people who love to hike (which this family was), and we still got little pockets of sunlight every once in a while.
Virginia Beach is such a small, big town.
One of the coolest parts about hanging out with this wonderful family were all the friends that we had in common. They couldn’t remember how they found me, but there were just so many overlaps that the session also became like hanging out with friends. That’s the best.
