One of the best parts of working at The Studio Hampton Roads is that things are always changing and evolving – and I get to be part of it by doing my client’s portraits there. These Studio Hampton Roads Realtor headshots were the perfect way for Bernadette to have great marketing photos for this venture that she’s going on. She used to work at JoAnn’s fabrics (for years and years) and helped people create things that they’d been dreaming up. Now she gets to do the same thing for potential home owners in Coastal Virginia.
I think a lot of people get nervous when we talk about doing headshots. There’s something really vulnerable about being in front of someone else’s camera. Will I keep the bad photos? Will any turn out? The reality of the situation is that I’ve usually only met you this one time – and this version of you is the only one I know. Sure, there may be some in there that aren’t your favorite – but the vast majority show you in the best light that I’ve ever seen you in.
Are you on the fence about getting headshots?
We’ve got galleries and galleries of images for you to check out if you want to know what to expect. I get it, though. I get nervous about having my headshots taken, too. Part of the reason that I take the silly mirror selfies is to show that I know how to have fun with it. I promise that it will be fun – or that type 2 fun. You know the kind – where you’re stressed out before the shoot and then afterwards you realize that it was great. Sometimes Type 2 fun is the best kind, right?
Send me a message if you want to talk more about the process. I’d love to help. And speaking of mirror selfies…
