Running into Patience MacCartney when I was at lunch with my husband a couple of months ago was such a happy accident. We hadn’t seen each other in a while and exchanged numbers. She reached out shortly after to coordinate photos for her social media. These Norfolk Realtor lifestyle photos were perfect for her. We went to her home and took some updated headshots, some fun photos with her dogs, and showed off her beautiful space. After the initial photos, we went to Blanca, up the street, and ate a delicious dinner (where she ate her spaghetti limone in her lemon jacket).
Spending time getting to each other more during your content photos is all part of it. I really enjoyed getting to know her more, learn more about her story, and do my best to take photos at the same time. I’m so happy with how they turned out, and I know she is, too.
You never know where business is going to come from
Sometimes, you’ll be taking an afternoon off with your significant other, run into someone you really like – and that’ll turn into the fun day that we had. The truth of the matter is that you should find time to do things for yourself more often. When you do – it’s better for you and your business. Sure, there’s no guarantee that you’ll have the same experience that I had running into Patience – but you might. And if you do, you’ll be lucky.
