I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Patience MacCartney a few times now. She’s such a great person to be around, and loves her people so much that she does some really great client events throughout the year. Doing these Norfolk lifestyle family photos was great – because she not only did her own family photos, but she invited clients to have theirs done, too. Her house was the perfect backdrop – and not just because she’s a Realtor. Fall was starting to, well, fall, and the weather was perfect for such a kind event.
When you think about things that you can do for clients to say thank you – it’s hard to come up with something that you know they’ll cherish. Patience understands the importance of family photos, so it was such a sweet gift to offer. Now those families will have photos that they can cherish forever. The best part were all the dogs and babies – and seeing people that I’d seen at her other past client events!

It’s a great idea to invite clients to any client event or to do something like this – but people’s schedules get crazy. Patience beautifully coordinated this with me and her people so that they could make time to be there. A lot of them were headed to the ODU football game afterwards – so the timing was perfect!
