I debated on whether or not I was going to blog this family session. I know, I know, I’m not a photographer (but aren’t I?). But sometimes I take family pics, especially when one of my best friends calls me up and asks me specifically to be the one to do it, and I REALLY wanted to share them with the world. That’s part of the reason that I wrote this blog post the other day to explain myself and what I’ve been up to. I’ve always kind of loved the Neon District (after all, it’s where we did my first set of headshots), so when Staci suggested the dinosaur mural for her Norfolk family pictures, it only made sense to find it!
I was so glad to take The Jelleys through a little part of Norfolk called Chelsea and take advantage of a really cool dinosaur mural and blue wall for their family pics. Staci had been searching for this mural for forever, and I’m SO glad that she found it. They made it super easy to take their picture – I think their session only lasted about 30 minutes, and we got a ton of great stuff! I’ve known Staci for what feels like forever, and our children are betrothed (Jack and Piper). Jack Jelley makes some of the best facial expressions ever (and Gabby isn’t far behind him). I’m so glad that I got to take photos of one of my favorite families – hope you like these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
