If you don’t remember anything else from this post, PLEASE remember this: It doesn’t have to be complicated! You don’t need hours to create meaningful content that is on brand with your business. You don’t even need a full session. A mini session – coupled with a clear idea – is more than enough time to generate meaningful images. You need to come prepared and energized. Your photographer needs to be the same. Toss in an awesome space, like The Studio Hampton Roads, and you are set.
This gallery is proof of that.
In a few hours, I was able to work with four businesses and six individuals. Despite hosting the sessions in one location, each business was able to capture unique content. When you are clear on the unique qualities of both your business and yourself, it’s easier to utilize a space specific to your needs. All four of the businesses I worked with came in with specific goals in mind.
- Emily, of Emily Benson Consulting, made sure to highlight the tools she uses to provide her services. By incorporating a coffee mug, she also gave a nod to the personal part of her that loves caffeine.
- Kristie Weaver and her real estate team wanted to focus on headshots to ensure that they are showcasing more than just incredible homes for sale.
- Rickina, owner of The Lash CEO, typically lets her work speak for itself. She was overdue for some stylish and fun headshots that showcase how her personality is just as incredible for her talent.
- Mandy Paige let loose during her session! It was the perfect way to show her future clients how her coaching services can free you up for more fun and celebration by enhancing your productivity.
Each of these entrepreneurs had a purpose for their session. They came prepared with what they needed: outfit changes, props, and the energy to give 100% of themselves for the time we had. Honestly, their energy was contagious. The Studio Hampton Roads was buzzing with the talent of incredible business women.
And I’m glad I got to be the one to capture it.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking that creating content has to be overwhelmingly complicated. Maybe you feel as though you are too stretched for time. I hope this gallery proves you wrong. I hope it shows that you can promote your business – while staying on brand – without jumping through hoops, and without sacrificing your individual personality. It is possible.
Just ask any of these women.
