This gallery showcases two different months worth of content photography for Hummingbird Macarons and Desserts in Norfolk, Virginia. I love that you can see how the photos progress and how they evolve from pure product shots into a creative flow of colors and tastes that is freaking inspiring. I’m not particularly confrontational, but I’ll call you a liar if you say anything different.
Kisha Moore created this heavenly dessert shop with more in mind than macarons, although she is most known for those delicious meringue discs. She said it best during an interview with 13 News Now earlier this year: “I want this space to draw the sweet out of life, and we share that with other people.”
Kisha, you and your team most certainly do.
It’s so much more than a sugar rush. It’s the way each dessert feels like a personal gift. Every treat has been carefully stooped over while the details have been delicately handled. There is a buzz in the atmosphere that immediately calms you. You belong here. (Every single one of you.) And if you know Kisha, you know this is true. She wants you here, and she wants you enjoying this sweet moment in life.
If you can’t make it to the store, no problem. You can order directly from her website and enjoy her foods from the comfort of your couch. The Hummingbird Collection is a wonderful gift to help someone celebrate a birthday, a new job, or just because you love them. There are no wrong reasons to gift macarons and desserts.
Next time you stop in the store, be sure to ask about how they are able to achieve such vibrant colors on their desserts. There is an awesome father and son duo behind the story and it’s good to hear!
