It’s no secret that the Dragons are my best friends. We’ve been friends for ten years now, and Mike always takes my family’s photos. When he asked me to take his, it meant a lot. Mike was the one who taught me how to be a photographer, so taking photos of someone you respect that much is a little daunting. When those photos are of the people that you’re super close with, though? It becomes a lot easier. We’ve had the privilege of watching Jack and Anne-Marie grow up over the last ten years. They tell people that I also live at their house sometimes (which is basically true).
Back Bay family photos were exciting to me because I love that place. I love Back Bay and False Cape for a lot of reasons – you’ll see on my Strava that I basically live there, too. Mike taught me about that place, too, about seven years ago. We go on regular camping trips out there all together and it’s a blast. It made sense that we did their family photos there this year (what was even better is it’s where we did ours, too).
Mike and Loren are some of the most fun people you’ll ever meet. They’re like family to us – and it makes me the happiest.
