You guys know how much I love All Hands Pottery in Norfolk. They’ve been featured a ton on the blog before. All Hands is a beautiful space and the studio owner, Angela, is just the sweetest person. After staying closed for months, they’re finally able to open under Phase 3 of the governor’s plan. I was super excited to stop in and capture some June content photos for Angela. She was there to meet with a group of local creators who are all practicing and preparing to reopen their own businesses too. One thing that was clear- everyone is excited to be back in action doing what they love the most.
Taking pictures in this beautiful studio always makes me happy. I love the bright blue wall, the sunshine, and all the pottery that’s on display. I have so much respect for these local artists and I was so happy to take some photos of their meeting. It’s really cool how so many small business owners are coming together to support one another during these tough times.
I am also really happy for Angela. All Hands Pottery is officially open as of July 1, and they’re doing everything in their power to put safety at the forefront. There will be masks, hand sanitizer at the door, and 6ft of separation between everyone. All of the wheels and tools will be sanitized after each use. They’re also asking visitors to bring their own towels and aprons.
Check out these June content photos and let me know what you think! After that, give All Hands Pottery a “like” on Facebook to keep up with news and updates.
