I’ve had the privilege of being on the ILEA Hampton Roads Gala committee the last few years, and this year was amazing. With the theme of “Emerald City”, we turned the Cavalier green. This year, I got to co-chair with the always amazing Emily Miller of Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront (and the new ILEA Hampton Roads President for the 2018-2019 year!), working alongside Kelly Coronel from Inspired Events by Kelly, Amy Stevens of A Lively Affair and Cynthia Roseman of Dreams 2 Reality, LLC. Together, we were able to coordinate this amazing event from start to finish.

We couldn’t have done what we did without the amazing sponsors of the event. Stage Right Lighting and Big Top Entertainment did an incredible job transforming the space of the Cavalier Hotel. The Wandering Petal did a stellar job on the gorgeous centerpieces. Waterford Event Rentals brought in the most gorgeous green velvet linens and crinkled linens that I’ve ever seen. Inspired Events by Kelly sponsored our beautiful invitations and programs. Darling & Dapper got me, the board, and our committee feeling fantastic. Astro Entertainment did an incredible job emceeing and DJing the event (and had an amazing Mirror Me photo booth!). Just Cupcakes made amazing mini-cakes for everyone.
