It’s been 11 years of Misty Saves the Day. Like this week. It’s our our business anniversary!
11 years ago, I started this thing, and I promise I never could’ve guessed where we’d end up today. I’m so thankful for every iteration of this team – everyone that’s helped grow this company along the way, and every client that we’ve had the privilege of working with.
I don’t think I could’ve dreamed that we’d be where we are now. I couldn’t have dreamed that we’d have as many clients as we do, as many people on the team as we do – and I’m so happy that we ended up here.
What a perfect week to share our Camp Misty Saves the Day that our team spent together over the summer. We try to do these twice a year and I got to say, it’s one of my favorite couple of days that we set aside for our team. Team bonding, updated headshots, genuine quality time together, it all makes me so happy!
Cheers to 11 years – and many more – of helping small businesses with their marketing!
I wanted to share the new headshots we took of our team over the summer… FINALLY! But more than that our Camp MSTD experience! We are a team from all over and when I tell you these people left their families for a few days in July to be together I was so humbled. We love working together!
We got to brainstorm, bond, hangout and yes create some content! Check out our professional, yet personal headshots, as well as some of the fun we had! Olympic games, Dungeons of Dragons and a little bribery included!
Mike came with us as not only our photographer, but my best friend! He’s gotten to know a lot of our team and gave such personal gifts to all of us! Mike is a potter and frequents All Hands Pottery studio, where he spent MONTHS making all of these personal pottery items for each of us! Thank you so much Mike!

David brought a personal homemade Crème brûlée for each of us for both nights we were at camp! He showed us all how to torch the sugar on top, timed them in the fridge and let us all know when we could enjoy our amazing dessert! They were delicious!

David also brought, curated and created a customized Dungeons and Dragons game for some of us! He took us on a wild journey and kept us laughing for hours! Since then several of us have invited him over to teach our families the game and it’s been a blast.
Water flip cup was our last game of our Olympics! Katherine and Jessica finally didn’t come in last place for once!
Sandy and Caitlin won the Olympics and Phoebe thrifted all of our trophies!
Jessica cleaned up broken eggs so she got a participation trophy and Mike got a trophy for being the referee and for putting up with all of us! He overcame bribery. And did the noble thing by selecting the winners, Sandy and Caitlin, who won by great teamwork, wit, brut strength, and most points! Oh and then he cooked for us too!

Jessica made a delicious charcuterie board for all of us! And Sandy got these awesome hats embroidered for ALL of us! I seriously love how each person on our team wanted to do something for us, and contributed to the camp!
