There’s lots of great places in Virginia Beach for family photos, but being a Little Island family photographer is probably my favorite spot to go. Is it convenient? Not for most people. But I’ll tell you what – the pier is the perfect spot to block wind and get really pretty beach photos, still. This family session was extra awesome because it was for friends. I’ve known Rachael for over seven years now – she owns another local marketing agency that has hired me to help with some photography in the past. They’re wonderful humans and great people. I’ve also done content photos for her husband, Nate, who’s a local loan officer. Her kids and my kids go to the same school. They live in my neighborhood and cheer for me when they see me riding my bike or running. Their family delivered soup after my back surgery. Capturing family photos is always great, but when it’s for wonderful humans like these, it’s even better.
We started their session at their home so we cold easily include their ADORABLE dogs. Dogs are always welcome at your family session, but if you don’t have a dog wrangler on hand, having them in public places can be tough to do your family session, and this family got that. We got some really great ones with their pups – then headed to Little Island.
It’s family photo season.
I’ve gotten all sorts of requests lately for family photos. Truthfully, I’m out of weekends in the fall for family photos all together. I’m okay with that – that means that our people are working ahead of the game, and that’s even better. If you’ve been thinking you want some fall family photos, let me know.
