I had the privilege of photographing Lincoln’s big sister when she was born, so when Kelly and Chris reached out about photographing Lincoln when he was born, I was so excited. I hadn’t seen CC since she was born, and everybody loves to go see a tiny baby. These Virginia Beach lifestyle newborn photos were more about showing how things actually are – and that’s how I believe all newborn photos should be. Let’s see the nursery, let’s show the big sister and how much she loves the new baby, let’s see how things really are and feel. It means more – and those are the memories that you really want to hold onto.
One of the best compliments that Kelly and Chris could’ve given me was that CC smiled. In the past, she doesn’t love to smile unless she’s the one taking the selfie, so it was cool that she did it for me! I don’t always do newborn photos, but when I do – man, I love when they’re just like this.
