You guys know that I love the amazing work that Roc Solid Foundation does, and I’ve loved working with them these past few months on their Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, AND content creation. I had the pleasure of spending some time with them and the awesome team at Avalon Bay a couple of weeks ago while they had a Roc Solid Foundation packing party to pack Ready Bags.

At each one of these packing parties, there’s a family who’s received one of those Ready Bags upon their diagnosis of pediatric cancer. They talk about that day, and what it meant to them to know that there’s a community of people who came together to give them this bag. These families are an inspiration – a beacon of hope for their children, and I always leave these shoots so inspired about the community that we live in.

You’ll see in the pictures below that volunteers hand write a note to the families, with words of encouragement. These bags are the first sign of hope that these families receive – and it’s incredible to see a community of people come together to build hope for them.
