I did a thing that some people would think is crazy.⁠

I got rid of the R6. I traded it for another 5dMarkIV.⁠

If you aren't a photographer, you don't know what that means. But it took a long time for me to make a decision on what to do, and I did my first session(s) with two cameras the other day, and it was the RIGHT decision, and I'm so stoked about it.⁠

I'm a two-camera photographer now. I'm here for it.

We spent the morning "ducking" our favorite Jeeps around town.⁠

The kids loved it. We made little cards, they ran out and put ducks on Jeeps and then ran back - and if you're a Jeep owner, you know how awesome it is to get a duck.⁠

So to those that got a duck today: thanks for sending us a message to let us know you got it! It made the girls' day (and mine!).

Simplify the services we offer.⁠
Simplify my schedule.⁠
Simplify how I organize my house - down to where I put the things in my office (lets be clear- I will still lose my keys at every opportunity). ⁠

We try to add a bunch of stuff to our life to make it better, but the more I simplify, whenever I simplify, I find that I'm a WHOLE LOT HAPPIER.⁠

One of the things that I love about working with @own_re is that I get to meet so many amazing people - like @realtor.remi. I loved getting to do a full session of headshots with her last week at @thestudiohr so she has some updated content for social media, business cards, and all sorts of other things.⁠

You may recognize her from family photos that I did for her last month, too.⁠

Getting to know people through all the different spots in their lives - the personal, the professional - I love how they all blend together. And it's been so cool to see how they come together for people like Remi.⁠
